Moms Little Helper

Today I took on the tedious, time consuming, TERRIFYING task of washing my windows. I say terrifying because of the tarantula sized spiders sneaking around and waiting to waltz their way out into my world when I open the windows. That's the thing about windows, you never really realize how dirty they are or the disgusting creatures that hide inside them until you get crazy and decide to clean. This was no ordinary cleaning either...this was a full fledge tooth-brush-in-the-crevices fall cleaning. *shiver*. It disgusts me just to think about it.

However...in the midst of the dirt and dust my daughter presented me with another magical moment. I was just beginning to wash the windows and without being asked or taught she picked up some paper towel and began wiping the windows wherever she could reach! The entire time I cleaned she scrubbed right along beside me. I will treasure this moment when she is a teenager! Mother and daughter working side by side and sharing smiles!

Change that to 'they're' for me before I have a stroke! Kidding. Why don't I use the preview?

It's obviously been awhile since I have checked if you had a new post. Happy belated birthday! It's fun when they start "helping" with the chores. We need to take what we can get because in a few years it'll be "aww, mom, do I have to!"
